What an amazing place! The owner was wonderful. Allowed us to walk around inside . She was very pleasant friendly and and had a great deal of knowledge about Groundhog day! I will definitely be back
We had planned to get married at the Cherry Tree but had to change plans 6 months ahead of time because i was having heart problems and wasn't sure that i would be healthy enough to have a weddingnThe owner promised a refund within 3 months but has yet to issue the refund. The owner had been dishonest with my husband and I. A rather unfortunate situation considering the house and its history are great. Bad PR.
We had a WONDERFUL time! The home itself is stunning, not to mention its kitschy history - and the hospitality was top notch. It was quiet, lovely, and welcoming - everything we had been craving. If you're in the mood for a getaway, or a staycation like us, this is the place! We're already planning our next escape. THANK YOU for the kindness and care!
Awesome, beautiful home. Lots of history on site to look at and read. The owner's George and Lori are awesome. Very considerate, caring people. This is my third yr. coming to the cherry tree inn. My wife and I come back every yr for our anniversary. Cause being married to my beautiful wife is our Ground Hogs Day. :)
A beautiful place to stay and visit. It feels like the movie Groundhog Day was just shot yesterday there everyday. Amazing and historical!
