Our first time coming to this shop was about 2yrs ago. We were greeted by an employee, a tall, muscular, bald-headed guy whose name escapes me. What I loved about our interaction was that it didn't matter to him that I was a grossly obese man wanting to check out some of their bikes. He made my wife and I feel very comfortable even allowing me to test ride one of the bikes. That impression never left us. Fast-forward 2yrs later and, even though we didn't purchase our bikes from them, we did have them assemble them for us. Their attitude and professionalism have not changed. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is interested in cycling or even needs bike service.
As soon as we walked in we had someone assisting us. We were there to purchase our daughters first bike and the associate was so helpful and kind in finding the right fit for her. They even let her take the bike outside prior to purchase to make sure she was comfortable riding on real turf. We were in and out with a new bike she loved within 20 minutes!
I moved to this area in 2019 and since then, I have gotten my bikes serviced here. These guys service E-bikes too. They stock Trek/Diamondback/Raleigh E-bikes and service Bosch E-bikes. Highly knowledgeable folks and top notch service. Will always return here because of their excellent customer service.
Best shop to purchase a new bike no matter what type/ style of riding you do. Rich and his staff will make sure you find the perfect fit. It's also the best place to upgrade parts or get repairs.
UPDATE: I ordered a unicycle through Richards online and delivery was as promised. Communication was friendly. The shop is impressive! It looks like a NASCAR garage for bikes with sharp looking mechanics.nn**Later I came back with my mid range steel flatbar bike. I started heading to ride it because it was always falling out of tune plus my kids had abused it. The crew at Richards took great care of it it’s back to taking along perfectly! They even got the hydraulic brakes turned in just right. The repair prices were very fair.nn(Spring ‘21:) Again, I’m so impressed with the knowledge and expertise here! I took my teen’s beaten up mountain bike and they got it back up and running almost like new!nnThis is the kind of bike shop I was looking for!
