Stayed for 2 nights. Roomed smelled like smoke. Red stain on sheets and mold in bathroom. Beds are small so if you are looking for true king size or queen size beds you have to rent next door at the Westin Element. Malls is next door which is convenient. Not able to have early check in...only at 3pm and our room was still not available. Bell hop was very nice and friendly. Not sure I would stay here again.
The Westin is a top notch hotel and at reasonable prices. The rooms are well maintained and the beds are super comfortable. The restaurant and bar are excellent. The hotel location is perfect with great restaurants and shops nearby. The staff have always been kind and courteous. The parking is free and plenty of space.
Got off to a rocky start, but I guess it ended well... Asked for a different room and the one that was given was completely in disarray. Gold fingernail polish was all over the room, the beds were not made, the mirrors were nasty and the soap dispenser was disassembled in the bathroom. Housekeeping came and made the beds, but that's it. We moved to another room and it was fine. The view was good. The free breakfast was full of healthy choices. There was one front desk clerk and he didn't know how to multitask. He was waiting on am answer for another customer and instead of moving to the next desk while he waited on the call back, he just stood there.... Really? No compensation for the inconvenience, but overall it ended well.
Very nice place, right beside bridge Street. Beautiful view from the room. Great food. Sparkling pool. Very elegant and high class.
Check in day before Valentines day. Receptionist at front desk was giving all the ladies carnations. The gentleman receptionist didn't offer me one. I had to wait for room to be cleaned. Went back after notified room was ready and asked what was the deal about the carnations. The lady receptionist told me. I said, well, he didn't give me one. He forget. He handed my key card and didn't tell me about any of the services being offered at the hotel. Had to ask about bar hours, food, pool, etc. Later, went to the bar to get a slice of cake, because no room services offered at this time. I left my husband waiting in the room for over 45 minutes just to get a slice of cake. The one male bar tender took my order. I waited and waited. I asked the other bartender about my cake. She didn't know anything about it. The guy bartender says it's ready I just have to go back and get it. He was so focused on helping everyone else and didn't go and get it. FINALLY, a third bartender went back and got it for me. 45 mins for a slice of cake. SERIOUSLY??? Very disappointed with the hotel customer service this time around. Not to mention, checked bank account and was overcharged. Called the desk and was hung up on.
