Very poor customer service!! Please change your pharmacy from this one if you don't want your day to be ruined. They didn't refill my TRANSPLANT medications and were giving flu shots more priority over my life saving meds! Hate cvs at this location

In a time when customer service is extremely important, this CVS pharmacy staff offered less than acceptable customer service from the initial phone call to the order pick up. After the Dr office called in the prescription to this CVS, I called at 11:22 am on 6-11-2020 to make sure CVS had all the necessary information to process the prescription. I informed the lady on the phone that I had a GoodRX coupon. She said ma'am, your prescription only totals $15 with your insurance anyway. I informed her that we did NOT have insurance, and I would like the GoodRX coupon applied for a total of $10.43. Seemingly frustrated with my request to use the coupon, she said that I would need to show the coupon when I arrived to pick up the prescription. When I arrived at the drive thru window around 9:55 am on 6-12-2020 to pick up the prescription, the coupon had not been applied. The lady told me that she would need to reprocess the prescription which includes making new labels and it may take 5 more minutes. She told me that I could wait at the window unless a car pulled up behind me in which case I would need to drive around and get back in line. With no cars behind me, I remained at the window. Not two minutes later (no cars behind me), she returned to the window seemingly frustrated with me and told me they were expecting customers to utilize the drive thru and I could not wait there. She told me to park in the front of the store and they would text me when it was ready. So I said ok and pulled out of the drive thru and parked in the shade. We waited a few minutes (now 10 minutes late for the Dr appt where the Dr was to remove the bandage from my husband's eye from the surgery the day before and apply the eye drops). I then drove up to the drive thru to request to speak with the Pharmacist. When I drove up to the window, the lady picked up the drive thru phone, was extremely frustrated and rude and threw her hand other hand in the air telling me the prescription was not ready yet. I told her that I would like to speak with the Pharmacist. He came to the window and was not going to listen to my experience at first, but I insisted that he listen to the entire experience. He was apologetic and asked for the name of the lady I spoke with on the phone. I did not recall (which is why I have included dates and times here for CVS' reference). Eventually we received the prescription with the correct amount applied but were 25 minutes late to the Dr appt just down the street. I do not typically write reviews. In fact, this is the first negative review that I have ever written because I realize people have bad days and simply mess up. But this experience is completely unacceptable and the staff behavior should not be repeated. I work in the customer service area in the travel industry and would never treat a customer this way nor would I allow those who work with me to treat a customer in this manner.

These people gives poor customer service, bad attitude, and lacking professionalism. My mother prescription was sent in to the pharmacy on 04/04/2020. No call, from them whatsoever; so I call the doctors office to find out that the medicine been sitting there. If I didn’t call , no one would have call. Plus, the tech has a nasty attitude..

Is it insane to ask for smile with service at pharmacy? I don’t know why, but most pharmacy technicians are very serious looking. I’m not sure if this is only me who feels so. Anyways, most times are good and do the job well. So the basics are good atleast. They answer your questions well and never hurry you.

I transferred a prescription to CVS, I went to pick it up, I was told I’d have to wait 15 to process my insurance or come back later. I left because I had errands to run. I later received a call stating my insurance doesn’t partner with CVS. They kept my insurance card and now I have to return and pick it up. What a complete waste of time. Earlier in the day I received a call from CVS to inquire about my account and the woman I spoke to was so rude, but I dismissed it. I should’ve known that was a bad sign.
