Walking Horse Haunted Hotel

We were visiting the town wide yard sale. Very few vendors. The weather was not ideal.

Nice place. Nothing haunted about it though - laugh. I think that's just part of the historical aspect of the place. Super awesome food and the owner, Joe Peters, is a very personable, never-meet-a-stranger, kind of guy. He is super friendly with everyone he meets. I've stayed in a room there on the second floor on several occasions and always have a pleasant experience. The hotel is next to a train track and the trains run sometimes at night, which is very reminiscent of days gone by. Overall - a great experience. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a very special get-away, or one where you can slow down, relax, and ponder, or write, or read, or just take a drive down memory lane and enjoy an experience of how things used to be.
