Shelbyville Inn

Room was nice for the price. My only issue was the room had a strong smoke smell. Outside of that not a bad stay. The location was a really nice plus. Close to a starbucks I'm always happy.

I'm not sure what was worse- the lack of door latches, the filthy walls, the bloody handprint on the bathroom door frame, the drop down ceiling in the bathroom (why?!), or the wavy linoleum caulked to the wall as a headboard. Towels were threadbare and stained. Hot water was almost non-existent. The AC/heat unit kept tripping its own breaker. An absolutely miserable stay and not remotely worth the price. Cleaning service didn't even come around until almost 6pm and they didn't touch the filthy walls at all.nnI can in no way recommend this place to anyone.

My family and I came to visit and this seemed to be the only hotel that had available rooms, we arrived around 2:30am tired and wanted rest front doors were locked had to call and got hung up on...finally got someone to take us to our room once inside it smelled terrible, the pillows were cover in BUGS the bed had red little things maybe bed bugs but wouldn’t be surprised. Don’t even get me started on the bathroom shower was discussing full of spider webs more bugs and mold. Toilet wouldn’t flush at first. The more we looked though the room the more NASTY things we found floor was covers in dead bugs just an awful experience. I seen other reviews with similar experiences some from a month ago some more recent owners replied saying they are up to date with the cleaning and training staff but doesn’t seem like it if it’s still the same!!! STAY THE HELL AWAY!!!

Cheapest, cleanest rooms for the price. $60 a night. As long as you don't mind open-air drug markers and domestic violence, it's a great place to stay.

My fiancé and I are having to stay in these hotels for a month while we wait for our trailer to be ready to move into and right now I tried to take a hot bath to relax my muscles because I have recently had my first child and I can’t even do that 1. Cuz the water isn’t even hot I’m lucky if it’s Luke warm and 2. The water won’t even stay in the tub long even for me to even wash and a few other things wrong with our stay so far is that I can smell cigarette smoke and weed from downstairs it is literally coming up from the floor I guess and I just HATE the fact we have to stay here a month cuz we have no other choice. ud83dude24ud83dude24ud83dude24ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude21ud83dude24
