Clean rooms and great staff, and the lady who cleans the rooms is super helpful and very clean.
A little disappointing but to be expected for the price. Front desk service was great on the phone and in person. Other guests were friendly (and honest). I dropped my wallet and someone turned it in to the front desk. As for the rooms: they are old and not well maintained, dirty carpet, stains on walls, sheets yellowed and stained, thin towels and no hot breakfast. Not just because of COVID, a sign at the desk says as of Oct. 6 (long before COVID), only cold breakfasts would be served. The maintenance and upkeep of this hotel reflects the fact that it is NOT American owned and evidence of cutting corners whenever possible to save a buck (or a ruble). The bed felt like I was sleeping on a slab of rock.Would not recommend to anyone or will not stay there again, but Vicki at front desk should be commended and recognized for making a silk purse out of a sow's ear.
Will not stay here again beds were horrible and the clothes hanger on wall was falling out the wall construction crews were staying here and very noisy not very clean smells in room looks great from outside but inside is not worth it...will find another place to stay for my granddaughter wedding in October..
This place allows us to have family visit here. We appreciate that, but, it NEEDS paint, updating,nand new flags desperately...a little TLC would do wonders. If you're going to own this place, CARE about it
Love Walking Horse Lodge!! We drive down from MI and prefer to stay here! Friendly staff and nice rooms!
