We rented the house for a long weekend was not happy with the way the owner handled our stay. We felt like restrained throughout the stay. The home is a bit isolated so make sure to bring things to do.Really nice views, very tranquil. The house in general needs updates and the upstairs was extremely hot during the day.

We found this place on Air B&B and loved it. It was private and very beautiful. We stayed in the little cabin by the lake. There was a group of 17 people and had plenty of space to sleep. A few people had to sleep on air mattresses but that was all apart of the experience. The only bad part was that one of the AC units went out before we got there so it was a little warm during the day, but we spent most of our days exploring the local area so we didn't mind. They have a beautiful pool, dock, fire pit, and grill that you can use at anytime. You just have to supply your own propane because people would forget to turn it off and waste it all. All in all this place was great. If I'm ever in the area again, I will be staying here.

The setting of this property is spectacular .... rolling hills, valleys, tall pines , beautiful vista's; all, concentric to the reason of why one is there...maybe a wedding, family reunion , weekend at COTTAGE BY THE POND or just a stay at the very unique Bed and Breakfast VICTORIAN ELEGANCE INN with its very unique furnishings........oh; should I forget fishing from the GAZEBO... The inn is a great place for a weekend get away or even a week of uninterrupted tranquility. Between the sun rise and sun set, the animals and a great host I'd go back every weekend. There are rooms and a cottage to select from. So take a chance and plan a trip.

Read the previous reviews. This is a nice place if you are looking to get away in the country. However, its remoteness is a significant drawback in some cases. As a wedding event venue, which is why I was there, it is not so great, hence only 3 stars. There is NO cell phone reception. The wifi at least when I was there did not work. I think that is primarily due to the large number of people trying to use it at one time. It is located down a long, rough, unpaved road. It is far from any town which means out of town attendees would have a long travel time from any accommodation to get there. Finally if there is inclement weather there doesnt appear to be anywhere to host a large number of guests inside.
