Disclaimer: I attended a small party here. I cannot comment on the comfort of the beds and whatnot since I was not an overnight guest.nnThis house is quite a drive up the mountain. It looks lovely inside, but there are two things I want to mention specifically. First, parking: the house is built on a patch of flat land. One can fit a number of cars on this plot (hence, good for a party). Secondly, the view is gorgeous.
The house was nice and well-kept, but we were very disappointed that the hot tub was broken--it was supposed to be fixed before we arrived, then it was supposed to be fixed while we were there, but the parts did not come in. The kitchen was a little small if you're planning to cook much, but everything was in good working order. One of the downstairs bedrooms is also a little small but very cute, and the two downstairs bedrooms share one bathroom--probably perfect for a family with kids, but not as good a fit for a group of adults. It also did not have as much available on site in terms of entertainment (games, pool table, etc.) as some other homes in Leatherwood we have visited. We did enjoy the beautiful views (which would have been best enjoyed from the hot tub), gas logs (make sure the vent is open!), stereo with bluetooth, and easy parking for multiple cars. Would be great for a family of 4 if the two kids weren't adults.
