Appearances can be deceiving. When we arrived it looked like the set for a horror movie from the outside. Much to our chagrin it was a very nice hotel. Great staff and comfortable rooms. A little construction noise from the renovation but that was after 8 am so really a non issue.nnGive them a shot!
Excellent room size for this single traveler. King Bed is comfortable with lots of pillows. Bathroom well stocked with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Breakfast in the morning is so so, as during covid they switched to cold items only. Will return as this location is nestled in Blowing Rock with lots to do.
Rooms were very nice. Breakfast was prepackaged because of Covid. Thankful they had something. Signage for the hotel could be better. Drinks inside at desk area were $3 a bottle.
Staff is friendly. Property needs help: AC needs to work in all rooms. Showers need to have hot water. Refrigerators need to not rattle. Bathrooms need to not have hair on the floor (there were many strands from other guests, staff). And customer survey tool needs to work--after filling out feedback and details, the tool provided an error message.
Clean rooms, kind staff. Marissa was very sweet and helpful. Along with other staff I don't remember their names. Thank you so much.
