Check in was contactless. Olivia had called us prior to our arrival to give us the location of the key and all the paperwork which was great! We stayed in the cabin and had a minor issue and Melissa came right over and took care of everything. The cabin is updated and really cozy. We will definitely be staying here on our next trip to Blowing Rock. Keep up the great work and thank you for making our trip amazing!
This was a cute little cabin option for our family over the holiday. Definitely quaint and tidy. Would’ve looked adorable decorated for the holidays. Has stovetop, microwave, dishwasher, full fridge & sink. Only complaints are a lot of road noise that we didn’t expect and it gets very warm up in loft for sleeping even with heat on low and a/c unit on up there.
It's a little above average place to stay. Very easy to get in and out. Staff was very nice. Room was clean. Mattress could have been nicer. Room was decent size. Average priced.
We were originally scheduled to be at the Ridgeway Inn which was closer to where we wanted to be. The day of our reservation they called us and informed we had been. Moved to another hotel down the street. Not a big deal however, we were able to check in until almost 5. The check-in process was a mess and no real communication about how to get the key. The room was clean. The worst part of our stay was the next morning, there was ice everywhere and the stairs were extremely dangerous. In fact my wife slipt and fell while holding our two year old.Not a great stay.
Absolutely love the Boxwood. Perfect little getaway. Spa tub in room was amazing!! Will definitely be back soon.
