Our stay at at the Homestead Inn was AMAZING! It was better than we could have ever imagined! The suite was so charming, yet very classy with the warmth of the fireplace! I also enjoyed a nice bath before settling in the unbelievably comfortable bed! I could go on and on!! Everything was perfect and the staff was so hospitable! Thank you Caroline and Rob for a perfect stay! We highly recommend and will definitely come back!!
They were a total lifesaver for me and my family! Super friendly and helpful getting all of us situated and comfortable without a reservation, last minute and no open rooms anywhere. I couldn't have asked for better service hands down. Thank you so much for helping to make my daughter's birthday trip the best birthday ever!
Extremely close to the Main Street of Blowing Rock. Very close to shopping and dining (non- franchise businesses). For a spare of the moment trip I could not have asked for better location or accommodations . We did not hear any noise from main street. The hotel was a very short walk to main street. The town is quaint with a lot of good shopping. The owner put fresh creamer in the fridg for me (in our room) so i wouldn't have to use the powder form that comes in the little packets. Thought that was extremely generous of her. Our room, cottage #3, was quaint, and under some transformation, nothing that made our stay less than good. We were told they are adding a fireplace and updating the heat/ a/c to a mini split system. The shower head put out a great amount of water. However, because of the flow it caused the hot water to run out much sooner than i would have hoped. By the time I washed, there was slim to no hot water to wash my hair...needed to take a military shower...I think changing the shower head to a water saver head would eliminate that issue. I would stay at this property again, with out hesitation! This is simple accommodations, no frills or fancies.
Great location off Main Street in the heart of downtown Blowing Rock. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants. Our rooms (# 5 and 6) both had a king bed, gas fireplace, pine floors, updated bathroom with jetted tub. Park right outside your room. No stairs to climb - no luggage to drag down hallways. We would definitely stay here again.
What a beautiful Inn to stay at while visiting Blowing Rock. We have stayed here several times. The grounds of the Inn are absolutely beautiful with flowers every where, the fire pit is fun to relax at after a long day of enjoying the many things to do in the area, and the beds are so comfy! The Inn owners Rob and Caroline are so nice and helpful! See you next year!
