Ridgeway is my hideaway right in the center of everything!! It's laid back yet roll out the front door to restaurants and shops. All you need on one stretch. Pricey..but worth it.

Quaint but dated property. It has all the essentials. During my stay, it became obvious how thin the walls are. I could hear a toddler in the next room wailing all night. Every footstep was heard, too. I couldn't get the fan to run above the lowest cycle so it was stuffy and warm all night. The alarm clock was turned on and went off at 6am! Between the toddler and the alarm clock, I slept poorly. The wifi was in and out and I had to go to the parking lot sometimes to make a call. Overall, it was not a great experience. For $250 I would've expected more. You're paying for location. The inn is very close to Main Street and walking distance to several restaurants and minutes from the Parkway.

The first room we were given a key for and we’re sent to had two unmade beds. The second room we were assigned was literally ice cold (January in Blowing Rock, morning temperature 25* F) No way the tiny, ancient radiator was going to heat that room comfortably that evening. We found another place to stay that night. The property manager insisted that he, himself, had cranked up the heat and that all was fine.nDiscussing the issue with him the next day, he said that if we had stayed, he would have even offered us extra blankets... but no refund.nThe Ridgeway, The Blowing Rock Inn and the Boxwood all now belong to the same hospitality group. I hope that they soon get their policies on par with the similarly priced competition when such obvious problems occur.

Not what is shown the rooms are ugly and small looks like somewhere I would stay if I was running from the cops in a movie would not ever stay here again

Olivia was the most pleasant customer service representative. She was very patient and helpful when booking my stay!
