We have stayed here three times this year. The tree houses are absolute magic for our 5 year old and 8 year old. There are a lot of times on vacations when you see pictures of the destination and think there is no way it can look that good. If anything, the pictures of treehouse mountain don’t do it justice. It’s a great way to spend a few days. It’s hard to be stressed in a tree house!

I rarely leave reviews, but our expectations were so exceeded, I felt compelled to give them some love on social. La Paz and Stamish (a friend's family stayed there) were impeccably clean, had fully stocked kitchens, gorgeous views of the mountains, comfortable beds, outlets everywhere - and we found La Paz's tiki style fun and festive. They had a firepit ready to go for our group of 7, and were welcoming to our dog who LOVED being offleash on the mountain side of trails and in the small pond. The owners have a sweet dog who played with ours. It is clear the owners' have a history of hospitality (used to run beach huts in Costa Rica) - everything we would have wanted was there.

Tom and Elke were the best!!!! I was looking for the best getaway to propose to my girlfriend. They went above and beyond to help me set up the perfect proposal. The Stamish Castle was OUTSTANDING!!!! Tom & Elke made sure everything we needed was provided. We will definitely be returning for another relaxing stay. Oh and by the way she said YES!!!!!! :)

Met the owners, Elke and Tom, at the Reggae Camp which is held annually a few miles away. Enormously generous and welcoming people. Tom took me for a tour of the tree house property, and I was impressed with the efforts taken to weave the gorgeous houses into the natural beauty of the forest and mountain. Patches of ground are sown with various plants that deer and other wildlife find yummy and nourishing..to increase your chances of getting close to that part of nature......Ok, so now I've got to think of an excuse for coming out here! I already live in the country with deer and turkey around me... but this place is special.nn(Forgot to mention the deep quiet, which is missing where I live)
