We have stayed two times and absolutely LOVE it! We plan on going back twice a year just to get away from it all. Lisa and Rocky are very welcoming and accommodating! We definitely recommend this Bayou Cabins! Oh ... Tante Marie's Cafe is the place to go for breakfast if Rocky and Lisa are serving at the cabins.

I absolutely love the bayou cabins it was so beautiful peaceful just overwhelming with a kinder type of atmosphere it was relaxing in every way just mentally emotionally physically a beautiful place and I cannot wait to visit there again I enjoyed also reading about my Merle Haggard and other artists being there I can't wait to come when the weather is warmer love Louisiana
Comfy little cabin, delicious breakfast, friendly service. The most affordable and decent cabins I've ever found so far. It is old, but everything works well (all that matters). Wifi is not the best, anyway who needs wifi on a retreat? We stayed in the honeymoon cabin, it has a large back porch. We'll be back and stay longer. Barbecue overlooking the river sounds great.
If I could give this place a -5 stars I would; First the front door didn’t lock, so I slept with it open all night, the comforter smelled like mildew and looked like a couch throw, the bed looked like a fancy electric chair (needless to say i slept with my clothes on, and I was greeted by the worlds biggest most black waterbug/roach that I have ever seen in my life. He lives under the sink in the bathroom in room 7 if you want to say hi.nnThey told me this was a upgraded room $150, if you’re desperate for a room in Lafayette during this hurricane or any others keep looking.
