My husband and I stayed a night to celebrate Valentines. The house is so beautiful. We stayed in the Fitzgerald Suite and loved it. Our friends stayed in the Jenkins Suite. We explored the grounds and visited and then woke to a delicious breakfast made by Ms. Beulah. She's a very sweet lady, who gave us a tour after breakfast and told us stories of her experiences there, and she answered any questions we had. We'll definitely be staying there again. Definitely would recommend.
Great time with my Women. Had the place to our selves. Very private. Staff was excellent and breakfast was really nice
Booked the Magnolia Cottage through Airbnb, mainly for the beautiful pool. When we arrived, after a 2 hour drive, not only was no one there to let us in, our cottage was already occupied and the lovely pool was deeply green and totally unusable. Finally reached Miss Beulah by phone, who scolded me for not calling her to tell her I was coming. In addition, there are noxious mothballs scattered everywhere in the grass around the patio area. Super disappointing.
Great place to get history and spend the night
The wife and I spent a night there recently and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The staff was amazing, and cottages were immaculate. The breakfast was awesome, and the tour of the mansion was another added benefit. I would definitely recommend staying there every chance you get. We will be back there again soon!
