The couple that live there, I guess are over the place, were definitely on something. The husband tried conning my son. All amped up on something. His outfit was very questionable. The young lady in office was very jittery and acting strange. Not to mention very rude. No hospitality skills. Like she was rushing me out the door. Later that night you could hear her and who I’m guessing to be housekeeping were screaming back and forth at each other between buildings. Not what you would expect to find at a family fishing camp. The rooms could have been cleaner as there was mold. The location is perfect and I would like to come back in spring if there have been some improvements with staff. It was extremely sketchy. I stayed there about a month ago and I’m writing this review in hopes of reaching the owner. I tried email but didn’t go through.

Needs updated renovation. Better beds would be great and more gravel for the drive way/ parking lot

8 hours agonIt’s so lovely to see a bright smiling face in the lobby now! Not only friendly but knows what she’s doing. Hopefully the new manager and all their druggie friends that hang out all night until morning won’t run her and her family off. I’m sorry no disrespect meant but the new manager has no customer service skills, sour attitude curses and complains in front of guests. I believe that’s the same girl who was a housekeeper last year. I have stayed at Ricky’s every spring and summer the past few years with my sons family. When we witnessed all the locals hanging out all night we have been looking elsewhere. A friend of ours called to let us know their was a new lady behind the counter . We stayed at the blue dolphin and stopped by to meet the new desk clerk the other day. Very professional. Hopefully the owners will see what’s going on around there and make the necessary adjustments because our family loves Ricky’s Motel!

Sleep at ricky's motel nice clean rooms nice helpful people can't wait to go back only place to stay for me and my family

Bed was like a sack of potatoes. Pillow like cardboard. No toilet paper, towels, or soap. TV barely works. Noise all night. Very unpleasant!!!
