Absolutely disappointing stay at this establishment!!! Would NOT recommend it! Very lousy service, no maid service, & we got kicked out because we got locked out of our room, due to the magnet inside the door malfunctioning, & after 30 minutes of waiting my wife returned to the office to Inquire about them getting us inside... her & the manager had a few words since the manager was chatting in the office instead of letting us into our room after I just got off work, & after we were waiting outside the door for half an hour... The manager printed a refund after I had just paid to stay for the week, & she was very unprofessional & rude. We had to pack up weeks worth of luggage & leave to find another hotel, because their lock malfunctioned & we got locked out! We are the GUESTS the ones who paid almost 600 dollars a week to stay there! My wife & I have been traveling the country on business & I landed a job in Lake Charles... we couldn’t find a hotel there so we came to Sulphur & decided to stay here. It was not a good decision & I wouldn’t recommend it. They also have large water bugs/roaches! Never in my life have we been treated this way.

The mini fridge did not work. No one was available to address. The lobby closes in the evening and no one answers the phone if you call from the room.nThe ice machine did not work so you were out of luck for a cold drink. The lobby was supposed to open at 7. No one there. No one answering any phone. I called Priceline which is who I purchased the room through. No answer for them either.nThey did get a hold of the manager later. I could get a refund if I left before checkout (one hour away) but I was in meetings.nAs to the room see the pictures.nI spoke directly to the manager and she offered to give me a discounted rate on my next visit. That was nice and the manager was nice.nThis area was hit hard by hurricanes and many businesses are still recovering, but at the present time, I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances.nAlso, there is no elevator.nThe stairway is filthynThe outside door to the stairway does not lock closed so anyone has access to the property.
