Hampton Inn Atlanta-Perimeter Center

I was in the process of moving and stayed at the Hampton inn primarily because it had the best price for a mid level hotel.nThe rooms were nice and clean. But towards the weekend or the NBA all star games people on the floor would get rowdy and loud late at night. Not the hotel's fault though.nThe breakfast is by far the best. You can go into the dining area, toast a bagel and use as much cream cheese as you want...or get a muffin, juice or yogurt. Way better, than the grab and go type, with an a small orange juice, apple and a bun that you can't toast.nStaff was always pleasant and made sure that my stay was 5 stars. Great Job!

We only stayed one night so we were not looking for anything spectacular. The room was simple, clean, the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly even recommended a little jazz/live music spot a mile away called Cafe 290 which was amazing! Overall we enjoyed our stay and if we are ever needing to be in Atlanta and away from the hustle and bustle then we will certainly stay here

The concierge service was nice and the room was clean. The room service personnel were also amazing and super helpful. My biggest and most serious issue is the lack of an adequate fire alarm system. I stayed at this hotel on New Year's of 2020 and there was an alarm to sound. My girlfriend and I had absolutely no idea that the alarm system was going off. We did not have a warning light flashing in our room nor did we hear the sirens sounding from within the hallway. We happened to mute the TV to notice that there was an alarm going off, but it sounded very very faint. We assumed that this was an ambulance driving along the street. The only way that we realized this was a real fire alarm from within the hotel was because I had been in a hotel before and knew the sound was, in fact, a fire alarm. I was in a walking boot from a bad ankle injury, so had there been a legitimate issue then I would have been in significantly compromised. There needs to be some form of an automated phone call that is sent to all rooms alarming guests of an issue. There also have GOT to be fire alarms in every single room. This hotel was significantly outdated by not having acceptable fire systems in place. This presents a legitimate safety concern. I'm grateful to know that nobody was harmed, but this situation could have easily turned for the worst had this been a serious fire.

Toilet didn't work and was never fixed. I asked two different on shift managers and no resolution. The toilet would not flush and they were overbooked. They said their technician was supposed to come, but they never did. Would give negative stars if possible. I've been a hilton honors member for many years and this was the worst experience. Will never stay at a hampton inn again.

Most employees are rude and park in the Diamond Member parking spots. Room was semi cleaned. The cocoa butter smell refreshed daily throughout the hotel is horrible. Staff was somewhat nice but inexperienced with busy weekends that fill the hotel. There are no vending machines on site. Parking lot is trashed and gets a lot of foot traffic from surrounding high rise multi dwelling units. I would say that traveling for work and using Hampton Inns as my main place of stay, that my experience here was below average compared to the rest
