Hawthorn Suites by Wyndham Atlanta Perimeter Center

The hotel needs a lot of work to it. It appears to be a place people are living at for long term and treated the place like a dump. I was moved to two rooms and my daughter was moved four times. Between the roaches, missing dishes, missing drawers, non working switch in the bathroom area, no light bulbs, knobs. Shall I go on.....The night clerk was great and trying to accommodate the best he could. The manager Renard the next day was condescending and pretty much did not care or had a concern in the world about my concerns. We book the place for four days. After that first night I made it through I would never stay there again if they gave away free nights. I was very disappointed especially because the Hawthorn is located in a great part of Atlanta but, Sandy Springs should beware. The Hawthorn in it's current state will bring the area down. Plus there is no facility person on duty in case there is something small to be fixed. I'm sure there may be a good room on the property somewhere that have all of the accommodations that we are shown on line. Wyndham should take their name off of this one or look into the person who is managing the place and hold them accountable. This was the most horrible place I have stayed at in my adult life.

Room was filthy!!! I cleaned the whole room. I had planned to do some sanitizing due to pandemic. I had no idea I'd have to clean! Coffee spill on counter, sticky tables with dried ketchup or BBQ sauce, pillow cases had make up on them, there was no mattress protector on the bed. So when I pulled the sheets off  there was a big pee stain on the bed. Fridge barely kept stuff cold and kitchen had no cookware outside of a cookie sheet. Air conditioner barely worked. Everything was just a mess. The pictures is not at all what you see when you get there. There was also a dried wash cloth hanging on the shower so there is no way anyone cleaned this room. Wall in bathroom falling apart, tub not draining properly, and trim around tub falling off.  When I went to complain. The guy told me I could check out another room. Sent me to another room which had people in the room. . . I wanted to leave but couldn't find anywhere to accommodate my family in one space. The manager apologized and offered to discount the first night.  Only to find out that she never refunded my money as she stated she would. When I checked out another manager told me he couldn't refund anything because I booked through Booking and it is already discounted very low. Which is opposite of what the other manager told me. He was rude and not customer friendly at all. The place is dirty even in the dining area dirty. And they acted so surprised when I spoke of how dirty it was. Had I just googled this place prior to booking I would have never stayed here!!!!  Everything on Google reviews about this place is all FACTS! Take your money else where. I never complain but this was the worst experience I have had at a hotel ever. This place seems more like an apt complex that rents rooms out. It has so much potential. They need new staff, management, and just redo everything. This place was the worst part of my whole trip. They are liars and do not stand on what they tell customers. It's a true shame. I could go on and on. I could look past the ac and the kitchen but the place was just dirty no vacuum or sweeping done. I would not recommend this place you have been warned.!!! Just look on Google. I wish I would have took more pictures!

The front desk staff was very, very, very polite and helpful. This review is no reflection of them or their service. They went above and beyond to try and correct the issue.nMy room was horrible. They should have done some serious renovations. Even just some heavy duty touch ups will do a WORLD of difference. I've stayed here before, and never had these issues. When I pulled the sheets back, they were stained. That was it for me. I can't imagine how you clean and the sheets are visibly stained, but you leave them on the bed. There's mold in the bathroom, wall and ceiling are calling apart. I won't be back. I'd rather sleep in my car, than sleep here. Housekeeping and maintenance are the two key things missing. These two categories are so incredibly important.

Very nice book you a loft sweet very comfortable enjoyed my stay only thing I had a problem with was one of the clean up guys was being to flirty it felt comfortable

The only real issue we experienced were a lack of towels. We had two rooms and there were only enough towels for one room upon check-in.
