Location convenient enough, but for the price of the room, some basic comforts would've been nice.nFor one, there is no microwave in the room. Called the desk and there's one downstairs in the lobby I can use. Fair enough I guess. Inconvenient but it's there.nHowever, the fridge? It only stays on for 2 hours! I've stayed in several hotels and this is the first hotel that has this type of fridge. My leftovers, which I wanted to keep for the morning, are sure to be ruined as they won't stay cold over night. Next time I come back to Rome, I'll stay at the Hilton, which actually has a normal fridge and microwave in the room.
Hotel is very nice being that it was my first stay I made a reservation online using a discount but once i arrive. Lady at front desk told me I needed to show a paper to to get discount. Well I didn't know I needed all that. I was still charged full price. Plus I had to move into another room after unpacking only to pack again because there was no signal to watch television.
Didn't have the greatest experience on my recent stay. My room was dirty and had a funny smell. I asked to switch rooms, and was given a used room that had not been cleaned at all (housekeeping had already left for the day). Finally, on their third try I got a room that was only slightly cleaner than the first, but still had lots of gross hairs in the bathroom floor and the corners were grungy. I'm not sure what the deal is with housekeeping, but they seriously need to step it up. This is a fairly new hotel, but it already feels like it's not being taken care of properly and starting to decline. Also, I wasn't offered a room upgrade as a Bonvoy Platinum, and had to call after checking out to get them to add the daily dining credit to my bill (even though they acknowledged it at check-in). This hotel has lots of potential, but is not currently realizing that potential.
Friendly and cheerful staff. Modern lobby with well thought designs and amenities and a restful patio. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Very enjoyable stay.
