This was an incredible place. When they say you have a good view, that's a complete understatement. Literally on the side of a rock face 1700 ft up from sea level. It was a heck of a place to have your wife's birthday! I do recommend, if you have an issue with driving in high places, do some visualization and mediation if you plan on coming from rock city. They also mention getting a head of steam when you come up the driveway and down the driveway they mean it. They probably don't want this said but there is an incredible siting areas just down from the porch that's worth an explore(bench included). If your into wildlife, we did have an incredible buck walk up on us right beside the fire pit.nnDo yourself a favor and book it.
Exceeded our expectations! Mostly stocked cabin sleeps six, 3 bedrooms/3 full baths. Bring groceries, toys, and movies for the kids, and plan a day indoors to just enjoy the warmth of the cabin and ABSOLUTELY AMAZING view off the back deck. Bring charcoals for BBQing. Lots of interesting decor (and hunting decor) to keep you musing and talking. The fireplace is off limits and the gravel driveway is a tad steep but nothing impossible. 20ish minutes from Incline Railway, Ruby Falls, and Rock City. They even left us dining coupons. We'll definitely be returning in the future!
