It's a really nice hotel. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. They served breakfast to the guests to keep everything clean and safe for everyone. The only I would change and it is a very small thing: hardwood floors instead of carpet. Easier to clean and keep clean.
Good location, convenient to just about anything you could possibly need but just far enough away from downtown to be away from the hustle and bustle from the college life. Clean rooms, comfortable bed.
I had an opportunity to stay at this Holiday inn last week and I can see the whole staff from the cleaning crew to the front desk to the young ladies that made the breakfast were absolutely amazing it was a total joy to spend my money at this location even when my flight got canceled they helped me get the things I needed and help me make my stay more comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel if you're ever in the milledgeville area
Called about being charged twice for a room, the person who answered the phone when I called at 7:45 said she wasn't able to help, that I should call back after 8. I called back around 9:30 and the person who answered who identified himself as Kerry Smith, who is probably the heavyset African American man who checked me in, but if it wasn't he was rude as well, was very rude. I was going to be willing to wait for a timely resolution of this matter, but his attitude and poor customer service skills made me not want to wait, and escalate the situation. I hope this hotel is able to find better representation because it is a very nice place, and it sucks that you have to receive bad reviews because of the attitude of your staff.
Its an ok hotel but i paid almost 1000$ for a week and it wasnt any better than the 250$ a week hotels ive stayed in. But i do have to give credit to the red head at the front desk. She was so nice and helpful. She was very freshing.
