As an avid travel bug with a strange obsession for architectural history & beauty - The Rockwell House is one for the books.nnRoss & Will truly put their heart & soul into bringing this gorgeous historic landmark back to life, while maintaining the original exoskeleton.nFrom every detail of both exterior & interior being meticulously placed, painted, constructed etc, to boasting chic designs all throughout this manor, this fine specimen of an accommodation is pure artwork.nnIf the interior of The Rockwell House was not enough to make your eyes enlarge, then enjoying the gorgeous tranquility of the yards surely will because nothing screams “picturesque” louder than lawns that could be home to a botanical garden!!nnSeriously, one of Georgia’s finest (and might I add, affordable) new venues/ accommodations.nnIt’s a MUST stay.
Southern Charm, Beauty & Grace. Everything you need for a wonderful and unforgettable weekend. I was fortunate enough to get to spend a mesmerizing and tranquil holiday weekend at The Rockwell House. We stayed in the Green Suite and it was beyond our expectations. Everything was so peaceful and absolutely beautiful. The hosts had thought of every little detail to make our stay that much more enjoyable.nn10/10 recommend.
After searching for the perfect wedding venue, we finally found it - Right here at the Rockwell Mansion. Meticulously restored by the renowned Ross Sheppard and his partner Will Walker, the estate balances its sophisticated southern charm with an elegant modern flair. With a federal aesthetic, you feel as though you are walking the halls of the Executive Residence at The White House - fit for a President. Thoughtfully appointed, the estate is the perfect choice for anyone who is looking to host a wedding that your guests will talk about for years to come. Absolute southern charm. It’s mind blowing that something so perfect is nestled right here in middle Georgia. The historic preservation is perfection. No detail has gone unseen.
Gorgeous and cozy with so many unique personal touches. Everything has been beautifully restored and modernized! Such an amazing story behind this house too. Absolutely stay here if you have the chance!
