Unreliable! We made reservations in May 20 for an August 20 trip. Then 2weeks prior to reservation called for 3days with no answer trying to confirm reservation before travel. Called local business near by to ask if we had resort's correct number and if resort was even open. Had to call booking agent who also called 3x each day for 3 days each no answer. They wrote corporate HQ with no response in 2 business days. Ultimately had to find new lodging at last minute at a higher cost. Terrible experience. Zero stars
Stayed here for a few days back in May and honestly I was pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting it to be incredible or anything but for the price it was really nice. Beds are pretty comfy the view is great. Wish there were more pool options but I'm not complaining. The breakfast was really good. Had it every morning! Yeah it's a little run down but it's not too bad! I'll probably be back after the renovations! :) thanks for a comfy stay!
First off what a great location!! Right on the beach, which amazing views. The staff is very kind, and work very hard to provide the best service possible. I have stayed here each year that I visit Daytona and will only stay at this hotel. The first time I stayed here I had the king suite oceanfront which was incredible the balcony was perfect for morning coffee. The bed was so comfortable the room was big and perfect for my anniversary.nThe 2nd time I stayed here I booked the 2 room suite oceanfront and I tell you from now on when I have the family with me I will always book this room, this room was perfect, it literally has a separate room with its own bathroom and closet, a queen bed and foldout couch bed in the main part of the room and a small kitchen which was fantastic for the kids. The oceanfront view is the way to go, may seem pricey sometimes but honestly, that view is incredible. I give this hotel 5 Stars because they deserve it.
This hotel is completely under construction. They never notified us. When we arrived the pool is gone, the breakfast is gone, no coffee or coffee makers in the room. Most of the rooms are completely gutted and unsafe. We had no hot water. When we asked if they would do anything the said no. Still has to pay full booking price. They never notified us it was under any renovations let alone major demolition construction.
Do not book here! Hotel torn apart for renovations, no hall carpet, only cement. No breakfast or coffee, no WiFi, pool was closed. Hotel should be closed until renovations are complete which will be a long time. We ended up going to another hotel after checking in. Hotel clerk was very nice.
