We booked two rooms via Holiday Inn till free number. We arrived at 1pm for check in; clerk said it would be 3pm. No problem, we went to eat and arrived back at 4pm. Second room won’t be ready for awhile. Which translates into 8pm. Then the next morning I requested a late check out. Well; there is a $25 fee per hour after 12pm. I reminded them of the late room and they couldn’t care less. We are platinum elite members of IHG and travel a lot. Never again at this hotel!!!
We enjoyed many beautiful views of the ocean from the private balcony attached to our room. The direct access to the beach was wonderful for our sea shell hunting. The scenic sky overlooking Dayton, from the shared outdoor hallway was breathtaking!
Rooms arent magnificent BUT they are clean and the views are great! Oceanfront with a balcony to enjoy! Staff are warm and welcoming! Pool is a good size and you aren't far from all the action here. Stayed here 2x and wouldn't hesitate to do so again!
The entrance is not well presented, we had trouble finding the entrance. The attendant at check-in was very friendly and helpful. The lobby was nice, clean and bright.The room was average and could use some updating and repairs. The carpet was frayed, and the bathroom was not freshly cleaned. The guestroom attendant didn't clean our room, don't know why. With all of the issues we had, I have to say the oceanfront view made up for all of them. The hotel is directly on the beach with an outstanding view of the ocean.nWe will definitely stay here again.
