South Shore Motel

from the time I arrived to check in on Friday night until we checked out on Sunday morning I must say we had the best customer service. The lady and gentleman at the front counter are super friendly and are willing to help you set up your room. When you arrive they give you your key and they also show you where you can park your car as well as if you have A motorcycle to make it easy for you to get in and out of. The rooms are super clean and very spacious. You have a refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker in the room. The bathrooms are very clean inside and well stocked with towels and toilet paper and the hot water and shower work very well. your view on the balcony is amazing as well. Unfortunately I did not get to check out the pool because it was cold and raining but the pool looked very clean for those hot summer days.nnThe only two downfalls are that the sign coming off of A1A was not lit up so you can pass the building very easy and the parking lot is small small if you have a SUV or a truck with a trailer. Also they do not have an elevator so if you have a hard time walking upstairs I highly recommend asking for a downstairs unit.nnAs for accessibility to restaurants and entertainment it is very close to everything around. I definitely will be adding this to my favorites list next time I go to book A room in this area. Thank you for the great hospitality you definitely made my stay enjoyable.

When I first pulled in the parking lot I was disappointed it looked a little run down but, the lady that checked me in was so very nice and helpful. My room was clean and fresh I was very happy I will return.

The bad reviews below don't sound like the motel managers I met. They have been kind and helpful. Room was comfortable and had a balcony over the pool and ocean. Room was large, everything worked, and the bed felt fine.

We like this Motel...... Visited first time in 2000 ! And still running under same german couple. Nothing special.......simple ang CLEAN . Good price too . We stayed there last week of 2020.

Nice place. Plan to come back.
