Bluegreen Fantasy Island Resort II

Our only issue was that our room stated oceanfront but being on the first floor, all we could really see well was the grill and elevated patio. We requested to move but no other rooms were available. Nothing else was offered as help to try and resolve the issue.nThe resort is clean and well maintained but we did not get what we reserved which is why I gave it a 3.

We are BG owners and last minute availability came up. We were at the Daytona Seabreeze the week before. The rooms are very clean. Odd set up , once again for these reaorts.we were in room 706. Tne unit was a 1/1. The bedroom window was directly in front of the laundry. They need to enforce , no laundry after quiet time starts. Lock the door or something. At 12:30 am, I was listening to zippers and thud sounds of buttons etc . The washers and dryers did not work well on our floor.. my fiance is an owner of an appliance repair company and said the vents needed to be cleaned because laundry did not dry and the washer did not spin and rinse clothes.The front door was also right by the elevator. It would be so nice if people were mindful when getting off the elevator and someone's door is right there to keep the noise level down when it's early morning or late. The walls are paper thin and our neighbors continuously moved furniture around all hours.nWasn't fond of the lack of privacy on the balconies . There is a very short separator between rooms, no wall. Im no prude, but really didn't want to sit out there when the neighbors were smoking their pot and cigarettes non stop during our stay. There wasn't a great opportunity to keep our sliders open early morning or evening as their smoke came in our room. Maybe if there was a wall between rooms like the rooms that look over the beach, you would feel like you have some privacy and not have to be bothered by the smoking on the balcony.nOur patio had a diagonal view of the ocean. And when you looked out in front. You saw the parking lot and units of the Fantasy Island I.nFor the first few days of our stay, the pool and hot tub were yellow , cloudy , not clear lke the resort next door. Or Seabreeze. They really needed to shut it down. We mentioned it to the front desk and they acknowledged and thne guy had just went and treated it. Then the hot tub was foaming all over. We chose not to use it for the reason of the quality of water..you are allowed to use the nearby Fantasy Resort I pool but cannot use the chairs, BBQ grill etc. So basically, gotta bring your own chair or sit on ground. Staff is very pleasant, all say hello in passing and make conversation. This is a nice resort within walking distance of great restaurants. Just some of the issues of the older resorts that was not fond of.. Theres also not much beach right in front of resort and early morning a chair rental company puts all the umbrellas and chairs in front of thexresort and park the truck and trailer. Just put your stuff right next to or in front, so commercial business doesn't ruin your view of the water if your not renting.

Just spent the last 4 days here and I can say I absolutely love it! The room we had was beautiful and clean, it was fully decked out with everything you need kitchen wise so I definitely took advantage of the blender to make margaritas all weekend long. Bed and pillows were unbelievably comfy so its to look forward to at the end of the day. Pool was nice and cool to cool off after being in the sun. Hot tub was perfectly hot. And the grills are top notch. My favorite part had to be the stair case down to the beach because it had the condo name on the back which made it easy to come back to after a nightly walk on the beach.

Extra nice 2 bedroom with 2 bathroom. Kitchen furnished. Large balcony overlooking the beach. Nice family resort. Will go back with family
