Holiday Inn Miami-Doral Area

This was a nice hotel in the middle of lots of really great restaurants. That is very comfortable with that Keurig coffee maker in the room with really good coffee by the way. Very conveniently located to the airport as well, lots of Frontier Airline flight attendants in and out which is always a good sign to me

I wish I could give 0 star. Our stay here was so bad couldn’t sleep. No house keeping. Water was so bad. Bed was so annoying looked like pretty old. I will never stay here again.

Unpleasant stay! We have always stayed at Holiday Inns in the past for the service and clean rooms. However, that was not the case this time. We stayed a total of 5 nights and booked 2 rooms. We did not get much service throughout our stay due to the pandemic . Housekeeping does not clean your rooms throughout your stay, you need to empty your own trash and leave it outside your door which we were not told about it until the third day in the am, towels needed to be placed outside your room so staff can pick up and you need to go down to the front desk to pick up, sometimes they would bring it to your room.nRooms- One of the rooms had dirty sheets with stains on them. The second room bathroom was dirty and the bathtub was very run down and toilet was dirty. Shortly after our arrival the toilet clogged. When we asked for a plunger the front desk could not locate one until the next day. We informed the front desk that we could not stay in that room if the issue wasn’t fixed. The front desk did find us another room with no problems and she was really helpful and nice. We had to pack everything back up from both rooms and move which was really annoying.nWhen we moved up to the second set of rooms we got another set of problems. One of the rooms reaked of penetrated smoke. I’m not sure how if the building is a non smoking building. The bathroom door in the second room was a struggle to lock and the water in the bathtub did not drain when we showered.nI knew it was going to be difficult to locate another hotel with two rooms during spring break so we stayed. Took a trip to Walmart bought lots of air freshener... trash bags.. Clorox wipes and sanitizer.nI will say that when my husband talked to the manager he did accommodate us with 2 free nights for our trouble. He stated they were understaffed and were barely opening up from the pandemic. The manager did apologize and was very nice. All in all it may have just been a bad time to visit, but it did make for an uncomfortable stay especially with traveling with our kids.

I planned to stay from Feb 28th-March 5th, upon check-in, the rm was filthy. The front desk rep assisted with changing my rm. The 2nd rm was cleaner but the floor smelled like poop on the entire floor. There was a dirt ring around the tub, the lotion was 1/2 full, on top of all that the pool was out of service. To accommodate the guest the hotel was sending their guest to another property to utilized their sister location pool. I address my concerns with the manager, I felt as if that was dirty to go to another location just to use the pool. Totally dissatisfied!!!!!

Nothing was open including bar, breakfast etc. If you’re staying on a top floor they treat you like a celebrity when you walk in and out. Everyone else they pretend isnt there it feels.
