This hotel was very clean and centrally located. The rooms are very spacious and equipped with everything you need for an extended stay. The hotel was busy but quiet.. The hotel staff was nice and responsive. There are two washers and dryers available to use for free during your stay. One of them went down during our stay however. There is an outdoor pool and a small workout room. Continental breakfast was available during the morning while adhering to social distancing guidelines. I plan to stay here again when I return to Miami.

Fully stocked kitchen?. This is why we reserved a room here for a week. I can't eat out and this was the one pan provided . Then when asking Dave at the front desk for something to cook in, he was rude and snarky and said we'd have to wait until tomorrow.... so I guess starve one night. Then hope for a pan to cook in tomorrow? His attitude toward the request is what gives them a 2 star review. Dave at the Doral Hilton was an inconsiderate person with a bad attitude, working in customer service.

ONE lounge chair at the pool, one umbrella, and never a moment without smokers. Pool is dirty, cold. First room smelled of previous cooking so strongly it woke us up in our sleep. Second room still had string food odor, though not as strong as the weed in the hallway. Staff are kind and doing their best - Marriott needs to put some money into the upkeep of this place.

Clean , extra nice and very cozy. Was very safe. You have a key to exit and enter the Marriotts. It’s 4 Marriotts all located gated. Perfect for family and excellent location

Nov. 2019. I live in Miami and needed a hotel for 5 days while my house was being tented, so I am familiar with this area.nnThis was a very nice, newer Residence Inn; but, I did feel it had some minor issues.nnTHE GOOD: My suite (1 bedroom, 2 queens) was very spacious and comfortable. It was super clean and the beds and pillows and linens were super comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and very clean; there is lots of storage space in the bathroom for your stuff - as well as a nice, spacious closet right outside of the bathroom. There was a full kitchen that was fully supplied (stove top burners, but no oven - there’s a full size fridge and microwave). There is a separate living room area and a dining table that would seat 4 comfortably. The room was perfect for my 5-night stay. The ice machine (on the 3rd floor) was right down from my room, which was very convenient.nnThe breakfast in the mornings was great - plenty of food and it is free; dining room is spacious and nicely decorated. You can also sit outside by a pretty outdoor pool. There is also plenty of free parking, good free wi fi. The staff at the front desk was very nice and the grounds are pretty and well kept. Key security is good; you need your room key to go up on the elevator.nnThis hotel is considered an airport hotel and I did see planes flying by out my window; but I did not hear plane noise at all while in my suite. I heard them a little while I was outside in the parking area, but it was not bothersome. (The hotel is almost in the direct path of the airport.) That all being said about the airport, it was still a ways away, especially considering the large amount of traffic on all the major arteries in this area. There's an airport shuttle that seems to run quite often, since I always saw him loading up with people. But, it will still take you a bit to get to the airport - figure on at least 15 minutes. It's close, yes, but, again, the traffic is heavy at all times in the area.nnIf you are considering this hotel for a visit to Miami, let me warn you it is near nothing - EXCEPT, a big mall (International Mall, just a few minutes drive), a GIANT Mall (Dolphin Mall, about a 10 minute drive), and the huge Ikea store (next to the Dolphin Mall). If you are a shopper, stay here! But, if you're in Miami for South Beach, that is a long drive in heavy traffic. The Speedway is VERY far (about a 40 minute drive). The Florida Keys are also very far from this location. Downtown Miami is pretty far too, and traffic is heavy.nnThere are tons of fast food restaurants within a ten minute drive, as well as a grocery store and a Walmart. But, there is nothing in walking distance. The hotel is on a back road surrounded by the Miami Herald Building, a condo building, and a cow pasture. It is quiet and tucked away.nnMy complaints are not big and not a huge deal. It's just that housekeeping could pay closer attention to the common areas (elevator, hallways). I was here 5 nights and the hallway on my floor needed vacuuming. Also, they are VERY heavy handed with some smelly cleaning spray. I do not have my room cleaned by housekeeping at all, but they sprayed the stuff outside the hallway of my room and in the elevators - it was disgusting and strong (a little of that stuff goes a long way) - if you suffer with migraines, it will give you a headache. In the breakfast area, the food was not replenished quickly, and the coffee was always empty, and never hot enough. Just small complaints. One day, everyone was waiting for fresh eggs and fresh coffee and it took a while to replenish both.nnAll in all it was a comfortable stay and met my needs. The price was extremely reasonable considering the comfortableness of the hotel and that it is in Miami. I would stay here again if I needed a hotel in my own city.
