Mountain Laurel Inn

Kathleen was so nice and accommodating. We brought our teenage boys up to ride the creeper trail, and we all enjoyed ourselves so much on our ride and on our stay at the inn. The room was great, and our breakfast fantastic and more than enough to get us started for both days we stayed in town. She always asked what we wanted after the first course, which was totally unexpected. And there was plenty of coffee to have before, during and after breakfast. What a great hostess she is. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone staying in town or just passing through. Very memorable.

I highly recommend this adorable, quaint and comfy B&B. Kathleen and Drew were wonderful hosts and the property is so beautiful! The breakfast was DELICIOUS and we were so full and ready to enjoy our day in Abingdon!! Can’t wait to go back next month!!

Amazing hospitality here. You can not go wrong. Right on the trail at that. Great location. I highly recommend you look into staying here.

Originally I was super bummed about not being able to travel this year for our 25th Anniversary due to COVID. My husband suggested Mountain Laurel Inn after his coworker raved about it. I am so happy we spent our special weekend there. Kathleen and Drew were so welcoming and fantastic hosts. They are taking all necessary precautions like mask wearing, hand sanitizer available, and cleaning/sanitizing.nnThe house is amazing. I attached a few pics, but they don’t do it justice. (The pics were taken in just the morning light) This home was built in the early 1900’s with all the original woodwork. It is a beautiful piece of preserved history.nnIt’s right on the Virginia Creeper Trail and they even offered a much safer alternative to the shuttle service to help us not have to ride the shuttles with a lot of people. We really appreciated that. After your ride relax on the rocking chairs on the front porch. It’s absolutely worth it.nnLet’s talk about the food now.... AMAZING!! Breakfast both days were some of the best food I have ever had. We even opted to have dinner there the night of our Anniversary and it was DELICIOUS. I tried a few things I have never had and so glad I did. I appreciated the option to eat there instead of going to a restaurant and I had a meal that was even better than I could have gotten at a restaurant.nnThis was our best Anniversary yet. Thank you Kathleen and Drew for making our weekend unforgettable. We will definitely be back.

We rented 2 rooms and all 4 of us had a lovely comfortable night sleep. Owners were friendly and helped with any questions we had. Breakfast was AMAZING and perfect before a fall day on the creeper trail. I would highly recommend this B&B.
