This is a well-kept, beautiful B&B close to everything in this lovely town. The owners are so helpful and the rooms are spotless and very safe during this COVID time with many protections in place. The bedding is very comfortable and the breakfast is outstanding. Today we had a souffle that was very delicious. A complementary glass of wine or beer is included to enjoy in the living room or the spacious front porch. Within walking distance to the beach. Highly recommend.

My wife and I just returned from a 3-day, 2-night stay at the Bay Haven Inn. It was our first visit to Cape Charles, VA. The are and town are beautiful. The people are very friendly. The Inn is beautiful and very well maintained. The rooms are very nice. The food is fantastic. Tammy and Jim are wonderful, warm and personable hosts. We can not say enough good things about stay. We had a truly relaxed mini vacation. We will be back soon. We highly recommend the Inn. Dominic & Marsha Stimola

We visited Cape Charles with members of our yacht club and boy were we glad our boat was done for the season because we got the chance to stay in this beautiful Inn! Jim and Tammy were warm and welcoming and the comforts they offered were above and beyond any expectation. Both breakfasts served were tasty and delicious and I can't wait to make myself ooey gooey french toast! On top of that, the Inn was decorated very festively for the holidays.

What a great place! The owners (Tammy and Jim) have the Inn beautifully furnished and impeccably maintained. We were made to feel like family. Even “Hoppy” the resident cat who guards the front door was friendly. The breakfasts were superb and Tammy and Jim seem to know everyone in town so their recommendations are spot on.nWe are planning a return visit.

This was our first trip to Cape Charles, and we had the best time! Tammy and Jim’s bed and breakfast, Bay Haven Inn of Cape Charles, was perfectly splendid and made our weekend very relaxing and comfortable. The house is so pretty, and very festive with holiday decorations. The location is really great because you can walk easily to the beach, historic downtown shops and restaurants, and you are next to a huge park. Our guest room suite with bathroom was not only well appointed with nice furnishings but it was spacious, very clean, and everything was provided that we wanted like bathrobes, coffee maker and more. We arrived Friday late afternoon, and had champagne and Jim’s homemade chocolate covered strawberries on their gorgeous front porch. We sat in cushy porch chairs relaxing and planning our weekend. The hot breakfast that Jim and Tammy serve each morning at nine is simply divine, garden fresh, and all homemade. I would recommend Bay Haven Inn to any couple that is looking for a fun and charming get away.
