Motel 6 Albany, OR

Stayed 2 nights. Shortly after checking in I advised the office that my family would be coming to visit me and we would be in and out the next 2 days. They would not be staying overnight. We go get take out and come back to my room. Not even 20 seconds in the door and room phone rings. Front desk wanting to know how long my family was going to stay. I repeated to her what I already told her when I checked in. I also walked over to office to confront her to make sure she understood again. If you want a hotel to watch your every move and try to get into your personal affairs. Then this is the hotel for you. I even called corporate to have a talk about this hotel. They gave me a case number so it is on file.

So glad these guys had power!! Warm, safe place to stay while Pacific Power crews did their awesome jobs and the Independence City crews did their jobs at clearing so many downed trees and restored power! The room was clean and exactly what we needed for an emergency! Thanks guys!

Last week we had to stay at Motel 6 in Albany because we are taking my daughter back to college. When we got there the manager that was on duty I think her name was Debra was extremely rude snarled at my son told him he couldn't park there when we just pulled in and nothing is posted, we unloaded our stuff into a room and was immediately called on the telephone and basically accused of trying to smuggle my daughter into the room saying we had four people instead of the three that we had paid for all we were doing was unloading the luggage, had to pay an extra $10 just for her daughter to have dinner with us at our room all in all very unsatisfied with the manager that was on Duty, attitude towards us, in the past year we spent over $1,000 staying there from time to time because it's close and convenient and I actually liked its location and staff, after this last stay, we definitely will not stay there ever again just thought people would like to know

I was passing through the area for a business trip and decided to stop at this particular Motel 6 location. The manager at this location was rude, insulting and disrespectful. Before I even could get a word out about needing to book a room the manager lady told me to turn the music down in my car. There was no music playing at all. I fact my car was shut off once I pulled up and parked and walked to the window. Next she decided to argue with me. I was kind and polite over looking the issue. But when I asked who the manager was she starts getting belligerent by yelling I am. I said okay who is your manager / owner and she said she didn’t know. I asked them for a business card she said there wasn’t any. I’ve never been treated like this by any hotel in all my 25+ years of traveling.

The clerk who check me in was great! She was friendly, patient and helpful.nMy issue is with the manager forcing me and everyone else checking in, to provide 100.00 CASH deposit!nI don't mind paying a deposit, but there was nothing posted about it having to be cash! I had to reload my truck so that I could find an ATM, pay an additional fee at the ATM and get cash!!!!nNOT AT ALL HAPPY WITH THIS PLACE!!!nThey are also, still advertising a FULL, HOT- BREAKFAST!!!! I've been to many motels since COVID hit and if they are not offering the breakfast, they indicate it on the website.
