DICK'S Sporting Goods

I went to get my poles spooled up Wednesday because I’m going fishing this Saturday. I met a gentleman named Bryce who able to help me out with my needs. After having a friendly conversation about the details of my trip, he was a little uncertain if he was going to be able to get all 3 of my reels spooled by then. He explained he had a pretty busy schedule over the next couple of days, but after expressing the importance of my trip to him, he was more than understanding and gave me his word he’d get them done before my trip or he’d give me a full refund. I trusted him and he really helped me out. The very next day around 1:00pm he had them done for me. I couldn’t express how thankful I was for him following through on his word. He even recommended a book about the basics of fishing that he said would really help me out, along with some insight about a spot he goes to sometimes. I’m definitely going to check out both of those. Thanks again Bryce!

This store is underwhelming and somewhat irrelevant. I have shopped here about six times in the last six months. I think every time except one I left without buying anything.nPrices are typically high. Selection of sizes is very hit and miss. I have tried a couple of times to find shoes but can't get anything I want in my fairly average size.nThe licensed apparel and gear is lackluster.nI've tried gift shopping but don't seem to be able to find anything gift worthy.

No thought to customer service, less than 10 customers in the store, 4 of them in line to purchase items and the one cashier is taking ten minutes to check-out one customer. Does not seem to care that all of his chatting is holding up the line and it caused me to drop my items and walk out.nnI am ok with the chatting if he would have called up a second cashier, but to ignore the growing line is disrespectful to customers

Besides following me around the store like I'ma suspect.. GREAT fishing supplies

Not very confident about staff's knowledge of product. Supplies were not top of the line.
