Holiday Inn Express Corvallis-on the River

We had a reservation booked for yesterday. Drove to the hotel and checked in, but after walking into our assigned room, we walked right out. We travel for work and are in hotels every single week (we are Spite Elite members). This particular hotel is not representative of what holiday inn express should be like. The room had a nice river view but it reeked like smoke and there are homeless camps directly beside the hotel and around it. I’ve never stayed at a holiday inn before that had completely wrinkly sheets but I sure do hope that no one recently slept in our bed because the wrinkles in our sheets were seriously questionable. When I went to tell the man at the front desk that our room smelt like smoke and that we didn’t want to stay there overnight anymore, he did not try to offer a new room or anything in return. He just looked at me and blankly said “okay”. I know the reviews all mention customer service, this is why we chose this hotel, but the customer service we received was immensely lacking. So anyways rather than staying at this gross hotel, we just decided to drive home instead. Overall would not recommend and would not return.

Good price and very accommodating, but old rooms and not as clean as I'd like. But I was satisfied. Very firm beds, perfect for my back. Slept like a baby. Room had great view.

The place was clean, very friendly atmosphere, has shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispenser in shower not the scent I like, good brand though. Arraignment of room was cozy. Really liked it.

Fabulous place to stay. Good size very clean rooms. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. This will be my go to place whenever i visit.

What a wonderful stay. Beautiful room. Loved the hottub and the view of the river! But what really made me write a review was the stellar service. Greg was great,and the rest of the staff as well. Super accommodating and friendly best place to stay in Corvallis
