Just what you'd expect from a 2 star hotel. Pros: not too pricey, free breakfast, close to cooper ski resort and Leadville attractions, hot water and good water pressure, clean room. Cons: old building, thin walls and you can hear your neighbors, our windows went straight to the parking lot, so we couldn't keep the curtains open at all.

The service was poor. The room was dirty (chip bag on floor), shower had dirt on the walls, they only gave us 3 towels when we informed them that there would be 4 people staying. With the areas of the room being dirty, it made us wonder whether or not they changed the sheets and pillow cases like they are supposed to.nnThe heating and air system was terrible. It was always hot in the room. The bed was uncomfortable and they only provided 3 pillows for each bed.nnI would never recommend anyone stay here and I would never stay here again. To top it all off, the customer service was poor.

Good, clean place to stay. Our room included refrigerator and a microwave, as well as a tv. They off a small breakfast in the morning that you can take back to your room before checking out.

This room fit its purpose for what we needed, but I don't think we'll stay here when we come back to Leadville.nOur room was a single queen bed room. I honestly don't know how they would've fit another queen bed in there. I loved the extra space allowed by only having a (1) bed but any other furniture in there would've been too cumbersome. The other issue was the heating unit...it worked, it worked very well even though it seemed to be quite aged..it heated the room •very• well!! The problem I had was to change the temp was a chore in itself because of where it was located. On the floor, in the register, which was situated in the corner behind/under the desk.nNot very user friendly at all.nnThe hotel itself seemed clean and the front desk people were friendly and helpful. Its just this room did not lend itself to being a place of relaxation or refreshment. It was a decent enough to stay overnight and then move on to next spot on the journey.nnAlso of note...we were on the 3rd floor which does not exist in the hotel info book that welcomes the guests to their room.ud83eudd14

Meh... Dated. Not super clean, blood stain on a pillow and hair (Definitely not mine.) in the bed. Baseboard heater with a knob for control (Had numbers but apparently they don't reference any sort of temperature.) was frustrating, started sweating while I was sleeping but was afraid to turn the knob too much and freeze... A thermostat control with an actual temperature would be a great improvement. Didn't sleep well here. Even for COVID times, the breakfast was small. Next time I'll stay in Buena Vista.
