Lyn Aire Motel Lake George

My family stayed for two nights labor day weekend. First impression was great- property manager was very friendly and the grounds were clean. They are doing some type of construction at the time but it was still neat and orderly in the other areas. The pavilion with air hockey, ping pong and foosball were a nice touch. There are grills scattered about the propery for use which is always nice to have that option of grilling some steaks or burgers.There was also a playground for the kids and a couple basketball ball hoops. Our room was spacious. The kids enjoyed playing all the games and sliding on the slide in the heated pool. Location is just close enough to the hustle and bustle but far enough away to have a nice relaxing family atmosphere. Some rooms are larger than others but have smaller shared decks. Somethings could use updating and a fire pit would be a great addition! I'm sure there is liability with that though.. anyway we would definitely stay there again!

Stayed here last weekend, and it was very nice! Some things are either altered, or completely unavailable at the moment due to covid-19, but that's to be expected. My room was very nice, and cozy. The pool was refreshing! This motel also offers a pavilion/picnic area, as well as a playground for kids. Good location as well. Only a couple of miles drive from the main village of Lake George, and also very close to other local attractions such as The Great Escape! A tad bit on the pricey side, but the staff are very friendly, and the overall amenities make it worth it in my opinion! Note: there is no actual land line phone in the rooms (or at least there wasn't in my room). So if you need to get a hold of the front desk, you'll have to either call on your own mobile phone, or physically walk over there.

The Motel is very nice and the rooms are very cozy and comfortable! TV is very nice and The Beds are really great! Very close to the Village only 5 Minutes away! Making it very easy to see Lake George! I stayed here 3 years ago but forgot to leave a review so I am now! I know it's been awhile but I certainly enjoyed my stay! Air Conditioning felt great and was nice and powerful! Nice Mountainous Views from the balcony!

Cons:n1) when we first walked in the smell was overpowering, like they had sprayed Lysol all over everything. We almost left then.n2) ac beeped off and on all night; buttons are squashed in so it’s difficult to adjust.n3) pool hours are 9am to 9pm. No lifeguard. Quiet people should be able to swim earlier and til about 10pm.n4) there was only a little bit of TP on the roll. No additional rolls were around. There was a tissue box.n5) the mattress was a little board like for me. I like a bit of cushion.n6) they want you to drop the key off at the desk before you leave, but it didn’t open til 8. Dropbox would be helpful.n7) tiny shower/bathroom.nnAll this would have been fine for a $50-60 room, but it was double. I expected more and was disappointed.nnPros: Clean room. Heated pool which we didn’t get to use. Says jacuzzi but must not have been working or available-she said no. Jen at the desk was friendly and helpful. King size bed: the main reason I took the room to starry with.

Extremely friendly and receptive. We reserved with booking.com and we paid in advanced. There was a problem at first but they took care of it and were very patient with us. They had clean and comfy rooms. I would recommend reserving from the site itself or calling before you reserve from a 3rd party to avoid problems however.
