Mohican Motel

Fabulous owner operated hotel motel condos and efficiencies.. Stay here when I moved back to New York I was there almost 9 weeks 1st it was a nightly rate than a weekly rate and then they gave me the monthly it was fabulous as I was looking for a year round place they accommodated my every need... The wonderful owner homesteaded the place I got to speak with her in depth and was fascinated by the history of the place incredible woman anyway fabulous place I would stay there again

I couldn't possibly give the Mohican less than 5 stars. This hotel is like a tradition as we visit every year. This time we couldnt stay long unfortunately but visiting still felt like home. We actually started staying at Mohican when my girls ( 15 and 14 now) were little and the hotel had a kiddy pool next to regular pool. We do miss outside jacuzzi..the water in outside pool pretty darn cold but stay still great. Family business so staff super sweet. Indoor pool nice and warm and jacuzzi inside did wonders for aching joints. As always ...despite short stay..met a nice, down to earth family.

Loved this motel it was clean close to everything and charming. This is a family run motel and the accommodations are great there is an indoor pool a hot tub and even a laundry mat. Great local family run business to support next time anyone is in there area and needs a place to stay.

I called the front desk on 7/26 and requested rates for their 2 bedroom condo for 8-15 - 8/17. I was told that it was only available has a 3 night rental and was told that it was available for 8/14 -8/17.nnI agreed to the 3 night rental and received my confirmation and also had my CC charged for 1 night in advance. We both had to reschedule that work week to accommodate coming up on Friday the 14th instead of Saturday the 15th.nnWe were looking forward to our stay.nnI received a call today, 8/8; from a guy representing the front desk to inform me that “someone” had made an error and that the 2 bedroom Condo was not available for those days anymore. I asked him to explain how that could happen and he said “he had no idea”. When I told him that I had received a confirmation for the Condo for those 3 nights and that his system wouldn’t have sent it out if it wasn’t available... he couldn’t explain that either. I then told him that I felt we were getting pushed out of our reservation because the person that was renting through 8/14 wanted to stay longer and he said “ he didn’t think that was the case”.nnHe offered to give me a basic room that wasn’t going to accommodate our party and wasn’t even going to offer it at a reduced rate due to their callous mismanagement. He was very unprofessional in his manner and tone. He offered no apologies whatsoever. The call ended with a heated exchange of words and he indicated he was refunded my deposit.nnWhen I called back to ask for the owners information he claimed that he was the owner and told me his name was non of my business. He then offered up his name as just “Mike”. The call ended again after another heated exchange.nnI would recommend that anyone interested in staying at this Motel be diligent in making sure that their reservation is actually real and that it won’t be cancelled by some pompous idiot that either manages or owns this establishment.

This was our 4th year staying here and took two other couples this year,place was clean friendly staff always great.
