Historic Champlin House Bed and Breakfast

Just returned home from spending a relaxing weekend at the Champlin House B&B. The owners Bob and Cathy were so nice and welcoming. You could tell the minute you stepped inside the door they take pride in maintaining this historic B&B. The house is beautiful and very clean. Breakfast each morning was very good. Just a short walk to the beautiful Keuka Lake and a few steps to shops, restaurants, pubs etc.

My husband and I stayed at the Champlin House B&B while touring wineries in the Hammondsport, NY area. The B&B is located in a quiet area about a block from the town square. Champlin House is easy to find and has off street parking available. Bob and Cathy have done an amazing job on the house and it is gorgeous. We stayed in the second floor suite which is spacious, very comfortable, and has a wonderful walk in shower. There is a large common room on the ground floor and a lovely porch which I hope to enjoy on a future visit. Breakfast is served in the dining room. The main course was quiche one day and scrumptious crepes the next. We also had fresh fruit each day with yogurt, coffee, and orange juice available as well. There were even fresh baked goods in our suite at the end of the day -- perfect for that midnight snack! Our hosts - Bob and Cathy - are exceptional hosts. They know the area well and were very helpful when we were making our plans for the day. We will definitely be back soon!

We loved our stay at the Historic Champlain House. The rooms are beautiful. The hosts were amazing and so accommodating. The home is located perfectly in town within walking distance of the lake, shops, and dining. It was truly a wonderful experience!

The house has been restored with the perfect balance of new and old. The innkeepers are so accommodating and the food is both delicious and plentiful. The village is adorable and the lake, which is just down the road, is so relaxing.
