Lakeside Resort & 3812 Bistro

My wife and I were told we should try Lakeside Resort when we were planning a spring break vacation. We had an amazing stay and plan to return. The staff was friendly and great at what they do. The food and drinks at 3812 bistro were also very enjoyable as we dined there each day for breakfast and two of our three nights for dinner. The views in the morning were also very nice if you're an early riser. Highly recommended!

This was our first time to Lakeside Resort and it definitely will not be our last, I can’t say enough good things about this place, in fact we wanted to stay another day. I spent days looking for the perfect location and resort for my me and my Partner’s anniversary. All I can say is WOW, best anniversary ever. The only negative I have to say is Lakeside and other website’s pictures of the resort do not do it justice. When we got there, we were very impressed with the property and our chalet was perfect, we loved the look and design.nnWe stayed in a Chalet and although you do not have access to the Lake, that didn’t bother us at all. The views are great, especially sunrises and sunsets. The Bistro was good, and the staff were so friendly and when they knew it was our anniversary treated us extra special. Location wise, it’s perfect if you want to visit all the wineries or check out Watkins Glen. We brought our two dogs and we all had a great time sitting by the fire at night.nnWe booked our next visit for August when we checked out. We plan on making Lakeside Resort an annual trip.nnThanks for such a wonderful time and look forward to seeing you in August.

I don't' know if you can find a friendlier place so close to Watkins Glen! We are actually locals but we love coming here for their luscious menu and promotion of locally owned brews and wines. We've had the best of times here. Enjoy the view and the good company - it's worth the visit!

Great friendly staff. We were greeted by Rocky the resort dog. We had reserved a creek side cabin which was very nice and very clean. We were offered an upgrade to a lake view chalet which we accepted. It was also super clean and inviting. The woman at the front desk was great to work with. We will stay here again for sure!

My boyfriend and I stayed here last fall and I could not say enough great things about this place. The staff was kind and friendly, our cabin was clean and spacious, the views were spectacular and the walking trails were well maintained and convenient. I think it's important to note as well that we went right in the middle of the pandemic and the staff did an excellent job of taking the necessary precautions to ensure our safety. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer. We will 100% be going back this fall.
