The Inn at Gran View

The room is in an older building, but clean and well kept. The balcony view of the Saint Lawrence river and the ships going by is fantastic. Nice jetted tub in the room. The on premise restaurant was very good. We will certainly stay here again.

A well deserved 5 stars, and you must stay in this hotel if you are in the area. From the moment you check in, the receptionist will welcome you with a friendly smile and a hot cookie. The service was very friendly and excellent. The location is magnificent right next to the St. Lawrence river, so you will have a great view to enjoy and amazing sunsets to see. There is a spacious lawn with an outdoor pool to enjoy. Guests are also able to have a kayak to enjoy a ride in the river for free. The room was very comfortable and very clean, it has all that you need. The restaurant there has very delicious food and cocktails and great service. The breakfast was very generous and delicious, many options available. An excellent place to enjoy a comfortable stay.

It was good..service a little delayed but I'm sure our waiter was busy. The food was good especially pot stickers appetizer

We really enjoyed our stay here. They lost a star for two reasons. The ad said heated pool. Not heated. In fact, rather cold at about 70 degrees! The other was that while they offer kayaks for guest use, they don't help get them on or off the storage racks. They seem to give out the highest kayaks first. Mine was the second down and at eye level. I struggled to get it down and back up was murder! The only other issue we had was out of Management's control so they didn't lose a star for it. Some people were partying pretty hard and the huge clouds of marijuana smoke made the balcony completely unusable for us as you couldn't breathe out there. But the rooms were clean and well appointed. Plenty of available amenities. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices on each end of the room.
