Jimmy's 21 Lake Side Italian Restaurant

Honestly, it wasn't our first choice but it was valentines weekend and other places we walked into were 40 min out booked. We came upon Jimmy's 21 restaurant and they were busy as well but the hostess was kind enough to find a spot for my wife and I. The waiter was right on the ball and the food was delicious. It was one of those meals you didn't want to end. They even gave a rose to me at the end of dinner to give to my wife. We will most definitely go back to this place next time we are in the area. An excellent spot to eat!

My boyfriend and I were in town for a weekend getaway. our plans were cut short and by 3pm we had nothing left to do except for dinner, which we planned to do at Jimmy’s, so we waited the hour and a half until they opened. The wait was so worth it! Our waiter was attentive, the Chicken Parmigiana was amazing, and the lake views were great as well. We waited maybe 15 minutes for our entrees. Highly recommend!

Very good! We came to celebrate my husbands birthday. The waiter was fantastic, so personable and even remembered each of our unique requests without making a mistake. I had the trout which was a local fish and delicious, others at the table enjoyed the veal scallopini and they even had gluten free pasta for my friend who had specific dietary needs. We sat downstairs and had a beautiful view of the lake. Yes, during covid times there is a bit of a wait even with a reservation but you have to be understanding as we are all trying to figure out our new normal! It was worth the wait. I would definitely return!

Delicious food, generous portions and friendly staff. This is the oldest restaurant building in Lake Placid so it definitely has charm and atmosphere. There is a bar in the front and although we didn’t order cocktails, we overheard many customers compliment the quality of drinks. Good menu but not extensive. Service was a little slow but we had an outdoor table so we were able to savor the wonderful view of Mirror Lake just that bit longer.

Phenomenal! Best Italian food I've had in some time. We brought a group and we received top notch service. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Not one complaint. All covid safety precautions are met. Exceeded our expectations
