Crowne Plaza Lake Placid

We had a great weekend stay here. Hotel was very clean and staff was very friendly. Location is within walking distance to all to see on Main Street . The only negative is you have to walk up a giant hill to get back to the hotel. Being up on the hill, however, does offer a wonderful view of the lake and mountains! Would definitely return and stay here again!

The first thing I noticed when arriving to this hotel was the beautiful scenery. Sitting on top of a hill allows you to see the mountains and the beautiful lake. It is also a close walk to shopping and sightseeing. A rustic cabin like feel from the outside and the inside did not disappoint. Pretty seating areas inside and outside Our king room small but just right for 2 adults. We were traveling with our pups and our room led out to a small patio and a huge grassy area to walk them. Typically you can not find grass to take your dog to at a hotel so this was very nice. The room was clean with a coffee pot/Kureg . Nice size bathroom. The staff was courteous and efficient handling quite a few people that came about 1 hour before actual check in. Our dinner from the dining room was very good. The only thing I thought was a little disappointing was that there was no complimentary breakfast but the cost of the room was good considering the views and how nice the hotel was. I would definitely recommend them.

I had the best time here! This hotel exceeded my expectations. Chase and Joe at the front desk were so nice and helpful! They made me excited for my stay before I even checked in. The room was gorgeous, the food was good, the bartender made excellent drinks. The view from the restaurant was so pretty, and the lodge was so cozy! I will definitely be coming back here soon!

Room was impeccably clean and well stocked when we arrived. Staff were pleasant. The views... breath taking! Would love to visit again during the summer months as the outdoor patio overlooking mirror lake would be perfect to sip some wine.

Outside of the fact that our room was right off the elevator, and the 2 card keys ud83dudd11 that we couldn't bring anywhere near our cell phones because it rendered them useless, this hotel was excellent. We got in during a late night ud83cudf19dusting of snow ❄and so I got to see what it looked like all lit up under the snow and by morning it was melting faster than butter on waffles. Ambiance was fitting for a hotel coming out of the pandemic, but it was clean, and my bed was Uber comfortable ud83dudc4c.
