Art Devlin's Olympic Motor Inn

The gold standard (pun intended) when it comes to motor lodges in Lake Placid. Been here a bunch of times. Large, clean, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. This place should be the go-to for anyone looking to save some cash and have a great place to stay.

We have stayed at Art Devlin’s for several years. What brings us back to Art Devlin’s? Each room is quite large with a private balcony or patio. The rooms are immaculate & show pride of ownership. The staff are truly accommodating & friendly- even locating a beer bottle opener for our use. Both grounds & pool are fastidiously maintained. The hotel is perfectly situated- approximately a 5-minute walk to the main street in Lake Placid, yet far enough away for you to absorb the breathtaking views of the mountains & grounds. And the price? Incredibly reasonable considering the amenities, room size, kind staff & glorious views. It would be a mistake to drive past this hotel on one’s quest to stay on the Main Street of Lake Placid. You came here for the outdoors, after all. Appreciate Art Devlin’s central location between the outdoors’ beauty and convenient brief walk to Main Street. A truly hidden gem.

Very nice room. Not sure about the price because my employer set it up and paid for it. I'm sure knowing my employer that it was not unreasonable. The gentleman at the desk was very accommodating, even charging a co-workers phone for him. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to stay in Lake Placid.

I have stayed here at least 7 or 8 times in the last 4 years. It is always clean and quiet. The employees are really nice. We love this place. Perfect little spot. Nice short walk to all of the action.

A great hotel. On our most recent stay we were slightly disappointed by an extremely loud guest below us, but other than that the stay was just wonderful. The location is perfect and within walking distance to the town center. The view from the balcony in some of the rooms is absolutely incredible-a great place to unwind after a long day of ADK adventures. Also they have delicious homemade muffins in the lobby every morning along with coffee ☕ and teas ud83cudf75. There are an almost overwhelming number of places to stay in Lake Placid but this is definitely the most authentic Adirondack hotel experience you can have!
