Cascade Inn

It's been years sense I've had dinner at the restaurant and I want to kick myself for not returning on every visit to Lake Placid. The staff was friendly, professional and appreciative of our business. The food was exceptional. The night prior we ate at a 5 star rated restaurant in the village and I would rate the food 10x better. The menu selections are amazing. They did not reduce their menu choices because of the pandemic and it's evident they are getting the business to be able to do so.... Please don't waste your time or money at other restaurants in the village. This is worth the 7 minute drive from LP. The staff is exceptional. Please treat them well because they treat every customer with respect and they want people to enjoy the dinning experience. A+++ great job.

This place has a beautiful fireplace and a very homey atmosphere. Dinners are served with soup and salad, the soup I had was absolutely delicious tomato with roasted red pepper. The menu lacks that healthy aspect, that is if you're looking for a lot of vegetables :)

Great people who remember you by name! Great food! Rooms are sparse but very economical and pet friendly.

Their calamari and wings, drinks, and customer service are amazing! Only 3/5 stars because the motel could use some renovations such as the ceiling and walls. Was pretty clean but I still sanitized everything. Otherwise an economical option if you are hiking the Adirondacks or visiting lake placid area!

I did not stay at the inn. But the resturant was excellent. My grandmother talked about how much she enjoyed the delmonico steak and explained how it sizzled as it came to the table. My grandmother lit up when she heard the sizzle. So Thankyou for agreat meal as well and putting a smile on my grandmother's face.
