This place is a hidden gem, and the owner is one of the sweetest, warmest people I've met. This will stay on our list of places we like to go.
Love this unique place! It feels like home. The host is very welcoming and kind lady. I came to New Hampshire to celebrate my bday with my newborn daughter and I absolutely fell in love with a huge bathtub where I could fit together with and relax. 3 weeks after I came again, and the host already prepared pack and play for us. Breakfasts were healthy and delicious! The house is so beautifully decorated. The backyard is absolutely gorgeous with colorful flowers, birds chirping and chipmunks playing around. Coming from Boston, it was such a special getaway for us!

Suttonhouse and its staff bent over backwards to accommodate us, anything we needed, or wanted, they supplied. Will definitely go back. Anybody going to the Lake Winnipesaukee area should try to get a room there. The breakfasts were great. Thais St. Clair is an outstanding hostess, made us feel like family.
Never having been to New Hampshire before we were delighted with the warm hospitality. Our room, White Lotus Room, was clean and pleasantly appointed. The house is quiet and the bed comfortable. We shared a wonderful breakfast with our family who were also warmly welcomed (although not formally guests). Center Harbor and our stay at Sutton House is a highlight of our trip East!
