Mountain home cabins is my home away from home. I’ve been going there my whole life and nothing makes me happier than spending my summer weekends in these homie little cabins. From the beautiful property to the amazing owners who I have grown to call family I couldn’t recommend a better place to bring your whole family for a break from reality

Quiet, and peaceful. Excellently stocked with the household needs! Older cabins but kept very clean and comfortable. Be sure to ask about the winter skiing! Fridge has a freezer as well.

The worse service ever. Cabin 2 was disgusting and when the owner was asked to AT LEAST replace the toilet seat she refused saying nothing was wrong with it although it was missing chunks of the foam seat. After mocking us the owner said to just leave and if we left on Saturday (the day we checked in) then she would give a refund and decided today she no longer thought she should give one. The woman seemed drunk when she arrived, she didn’t want to hear what our family had to say before telling us to just pack up and leave the second she arrived at our cabin. The argument started in the presents of our four year old daughter until my wife said to take it outside. 8 PM on Saturday night we packed up and left, driving over two hours home

Best Reunion Every! This place is great. We'd been looking for a spot for months. All four family groups had there own cabin. Kids had so much to do everyone was happy. John and Diane had thought of everything. Great hosts. Everyone wants to go back. A few didn't want to leave!

I've been visiting for years with my family, it's a great place for vacations, especially with groups. Aside from the other cabins, there aren't any neighbors to worry about. A bonfire pit sits behind the group of cabins, and there's a great waterfall and river to swim in a few minutes into the woods. If you're into hiking, there's extensive trails behind the complex, and many more trails a short drive away. The cabins are not very modernized, but that just helps the charm of the place.
