Great Family Owned business! Great Vacation Destination. He did ALL the carpentry himself and it's gorgeous! They do everything to put you on fish!
Everything was very clean. Ron, Margaret and their son, Jeremy were incredibly helpful.
Our cabin is ADA accessible and wonderful for those in a wheelchair. It is right on the water and has a ramp to get into the dock to board the pontoon boat. While you may find fancier resorts, this resort is peaceful and you truly feel like you are getting away from the hustle and bustle. Ron and Margaret are delightful hosts and Jeremy is an amazing fishing guide. He is great with kids learning to fish. The cabins are tasteful and comfortable. The craftsmanship and care that Ron put into remodeling our cabin is obvious all the way to the custom ADA cabinets and shower he built.
My husband surprised me with a weekend getaway. The Johnson family (Owners) was so wonderful. We had so much fun on the lake! No computers, or TVs. My husband and I really talk for the first time in a long time. Plus we had a really good time fishing on one of MN largest lakes. We were able to bring home more than fish stories. Planning on taking my children and grandchildren next time. You want a good time then I would recommend Whispering Wind Resorts.
