I had a lovely stay at Big Timber Lodge, and will definitely be back! The cabin was clean and nicely appointed, and located right on the lake, for beautiful views and easy access to the water. The owners, Dave and Gerry, are friendly and fair, and went out of their way to help when needed. Highly recommend!
What a great place with a ton of history! The lodge is as authentic as they come as it's made from logs and has a beautiful rock fireplace where one can sit and look over the lake. The resort sets in a very quiet area and the layout is awesome as all the cabins are lakeside. Their clientele is made of mostly those who return year after year so that speaks volumes of the owners, Dave and Jerry. The beach is awesome and there is boat accessibility to many areas as the Crow Wing waterways are connected. Great area and great resort!
Great owners who love to chat and get to know the regulars. Nice place for family time. Many cabins with many rooms. Very clean aside from the occasional Spider in a cabin but it is in the north woods so you expect that. Nice waterfront and Sandy beach(watch for goose poo though)
Have been coming here for years. Cabins are well maintained, and very clean. Great beach area, and plenty of fishing opportunities. Owners are very nice.
Beautiful cabins look just like home the lodge there's plenty of things to do there games shooting pool Checkers playing cards place to eat place to have fun there's a nice playground for the kids there is a volleyball net there's a fishing access for for a boat and the owners are awesome
