We booked here despite the reviews and I couldn't have been happier. Pat and Holly who run this motel for Norman made our stay amazing! We had a wonderful 3 days here and will be going back! .. Yes if you're looking for a Hilton room on a motel 6 price this isn't for you. .but if you give them a chance you will see an older old orchard Beach style classic Hotel with great house keeping and wonderful staff! If we needed anything all we had to do was ask. I truly want people to know.. This hotel is worth the money. . They treated us like we were family and Accomadated us with everything we asked for. .. The shower pressure was awesome and our room had brand new carpet. They have a nice fire pit and BBQ area out back and the pool was great. We had a wonderful time swimming especially my 11 year old. They are currently in the process of renovations and updates that will be ready for next year. But trust me. ..for the price. .. It was absolutely worth it.. We will definitely be back next year!

I was reading all these horrific reviews on how this place is basically crack hotel... Geez all these people are over exaggerating bad... Its an old style motel with kitchenettes. 1/2 a mile from old orchard beach. The owners are wonderful people super nice and friendly. The rooms were spotless and the shower worked wonderful nice and warm or hot or cold however you like it. Again my shower and bathroom were clean. My family and i enjoyed our stay. So thanks guys had a great time.

This place sucks! Made reservations for 1 night was told my reservation was declined as they had a 2 night minimum. They then told us that they would reserve a double room for us for 1 night. Then we received an email stating our credit card was declined which there is no way it would be and that we no longer had our reservation. After all this we decided that we would just plan for a different time. Well we get our credit card statement in and guess what Normans Motel charged us. So much for the card being declined. Now they refuse to refund us ...when you call nobody answers.

My family an I stayed here a few weeks ago at first I was scared to go in the room then I did an it wasnt so bad the only down fall is that the pool was not up an running but I thought it was convenient to the ocean it was quiet. The room was clean I am going to go back for 2 nites tonite for the money its perfect..
